A Year Alone

Charles Baird is planning to spend a year in the elements on an uninhabited island off of the coast of Alaska. He will live off the land and have absolutely no contact with the the rest of the world other than sending small outgoing messages via Facebook and the occasional hunter or fisherman that may pass by. The weather is expected to be his biggest obstacle but occupying himself mentally i assume will be a major factor in his survival. Shades of Daniel Suelo.
