Pussy Riot

All three members of the female Russian punk band Pussy Riot have been sentenced to two years in jail today as a result of being charged with Hooliganism. The band was playing a show in a church in Russia and began playing one of their songs in protest of Vladimir Putin. The judge felt that their performance was motivated by religious hatred and blasphemous. I say fuck that. This is not justice it's revenge.
Update: The Russian Prime Minister has called for their release. Chances are they will win their appeal on Oct. 1st.
