Nosferatu is a German horror film starring Max Schreck, shot in 1921 by director F.W. Murnau. The film which was made during the German expressionist era has managed to gain a fairly significant cult following among horror film fans. This film which is in the public domain ranks at the top of many lists near films such as Alfred Hitchcock's spine-tingling film Psycho. Max Schreck portrays the mysterious Count Orlok who's castle becomes involved in a real estate transaction with young real estate clerk Thomas Hutter. Hutter and his wife must escape the clutches of the blood-thirsy count before he claims their lives.
