I understand these are wartimes and during these times soldiers are under an extreme amount of emotional stress but there is no excuse for the actions of some. In the above image are two Afghani's holding the severed legs of a suicide bomber with two American soldiers giving the thumbs up and grinning. These photos were taken two years ago but surfaced today courtesy of the L.A. Times. The newspaper is taking heat from the federal government claiming that images like these that leak may put military personnel overseas in danger. The individuals protecting this country are also expected to represent it in the best way possible and should be held to a higher standard. It is a damn fucking shame that because of the actions of some I couldn't show my face in a particular area of the world.
